Here at Sugarland Animal Hospital, we care for all patients like they are our very own, thus creating unique value for customers, clients, patients and team members alike. Sugarland Animal Hospital opened in 2006 when Dr Mike Woodham commenced practice In Bundaberg. We attended both large and small animals and were heavily involved in the community with a strong commitment to wildlife rehabilitation.

As a new client of our Animal Hospital in Bundaberg, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays.

We recommend leaving your pets stomach empty for at least 12 hours before their procedure, they can have food the night before but make sure to remove it after 7pm that evening. Ensure water is always accessible to maintain hydration. There is a small chance your puppy may not be fully protected against the dreaded Parvovirus, even though they have had all their vaccinations, a Simple blood test can let us know how well your pup is protected.
