Our family booked to stay at Flynns Beach Resort this week due to medical appointments at Port Macquarie Base Hospital. The procedure was cancelled at 8.55 am on our first day and we asked the owners if we could receive a refund for the second night offering to check out before 10 am. We were told no and although we returned home and did not stay the second night our funds were not refunded or offered to us as on a forward booking when we return for the surgery that had been cancelled. Our checkin experience was also very unfriendly and unhelpful. The keys to our room were passed through the doorway

Stopped in for 2 nights. Was able to book the night before and found a good room at a reasonable price.
Room was spacious- 2 bedrooms both spacious enough.
Top floor apartment facing the ocean. Lots of noise from the road outside (even with all windows closed).
Beautiful ocean view.
Bathroom and toilet were clean but I feel they need a little upgrading as some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit worn and tired looking.
Comfortable living area with two big lounges, big dining space. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
Washer and dryer also provided in the room.

Great location, few metres from the flynn's beach. Had an ocean view room. It was a lovely stay with the perfect view and all the necessities available. The rooms were huge and clean. The keys were left at a secured spot for us to collect as we were reaching after hours. Had a secured parking. It had swimming pools, gym and tennis court for everyone to enjoy. Loved the resident birds, Turkey and lizards. Great for family and kids.

Great location, relaxing grounds which are well maintained, tennis court and our spacious 2 bedroom apartment was clean and tidy. Bit of a climb up the stairs to the top apartments but the lounge was comfy when you got there. Whilst the receptionist could have been a little more friendly we thoroughly enjoyed a first stay here and will certainly be back. Thanks.
