Agreements

Only dedicated, experienced, specialist family law lawyers will have the conduct of your matter! It is preferable for married and de-facto couples to reach agreement in relation to child welfare issues and property settlement issues. Where the agreement is reached it is important to formalize the agreement through the Family Court.
Child Support

Child Support relates to the contributions made by the parent who does not live with the children to the parent with whom the children reside. Each of these options has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Divorce

Twelve months after separation either or both parties can apply to the Family Court of Western Australia for a divorce. If there are children of the marriage under eighteen years of age at the time the divorce application is brought, the parties will also need to satisfy the Court that proper arrangements have been made for their children.
