The host works very hard to keep clean and tidy. Good stay for family.

Our welcome was very friendly. The two-bedroom apartment was very clean and spacious. It had everything needed - comfy beds; washer, dryer, clothes airer; very large shower; fully equipped kitchenette with full size fridge / freezer and free standing stove and oven; dining room table inside and 4 seat table outside. We were given plenty of linen for our stay, along with a beach / pool towel. The apartment was fully air conditioned, but all the windows and doors could be opened with fly / security screens fitted if natural air was needed. Great friendly managers - who make you feel very welcome. Lychee Tree is a 3+ star budget property well located 3 - 4 minutes by car from centre of Port Douglas. It has recently had a facelift so although it's probably 50 years old it looks ok. We booked two 2 bedroom and one 1 bedroom units direct and saved 10%. All units were meticulous clean and well appointed with everything you really need in a holiday apartment. Pool area is quite lovely well shaded and very kid friendly. The BBQ facilities were great and well frequented. We all rated our stay here 9/10 value for money. Would have been a
