Report
Life can be tough, things happen, and we can experience deep hurt. The bumps and challenges of life undoubtedly cause stress and anxiety which affects our families, work and our ability to enjoy life! Those who come for help will find an outside perspective on their situation that is non-judgemental.
Couples Counselling
Report
My aim in couples counselling is to bring a sense of care and to impart hope into relationships. I do this through providing a safe space where each person is allowed to speak and be listened to. Through assessing what the couple needs, I can provide strategies to enable them to move forward from a place of frustration to begin to enjoy their relationship again.

Sonya has such a kind and warm nature it's impossible not to like her! I've known her as a colleague in the "helping people" world for a few years now, and personally experienced her counselling recently. I can highly recommend Sonya Cavanough as a trusted advisor who brings a wealth of experience to the table.
Thank you Sonya

I first met Sonya several months ago through a local networking event. Over recent months I have got to know Sonya more and she has become a friend and valued person in my network. Sonya is very easy to talk to and has a calming nature which serves her well. She is honest, reliable and is without judgement...great values for a counsellor.
