Nurturing the bond between you and your pet - dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and pocket pets - we love them all. Making pet care easier than ever, you can submit a refill request directly on our website.

We work hard to make sure your pet enjoys a happy and healthy life that starts during their first visit with us. We focus on providing a fear free, calm experience so that you and your pet can leave every visit with a smile on their face!
Services
Our Team
Report
Nowadays a snapshot of a typical day for him includes consulting and surgery here at the clinic, managing a farming property and being bossed around by the nurses. Busy boy! Dr. Richard has a particular interest in all things orthopaedic. He's a sucker for Burmese cats, loves his Labradors Minnie and Maddy (and of course their Great Dane x Ridgeback lapdog Lilli), and if you barrack for his beloved Hawks, you will never shut him up.
Community
Report
Here at the Belmont Vet Centre, we have a variety of initiatives to give back to our community. We look forward to your participation. Do you have old or unused mobile phones lying around? We are a drop-off point for Melbourne Zoo who collect them to raise funds for Gorilla rescues. Bring your extra change to Belmont Vet Centre to drop in our collection tin for Seeing Eye dogs.
Rescue Groups
Report
All Westie Rescue is an independent group of volunteers, who genuinely care about the health and welfare of all Westies. Our aim is to find a loving forever home for our Westies. Our aim is to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted Labradors and rehome them into loving homes where they are considered part of the family.
Consultations
Report
Consultation is by appointment at all times, and we ask that you arrive 5 minutes early to give time to check in your pet. If your pet is nervous when coming to the vet, feel free to ask our team about some ways we can make the visit less stressful for you both - fear free. If you have any special requests or specific concerns we ask that you make these known to our team before your pet's consultation.
Dental Care
Report
Did you know that over two-thirds of all cats and dogs show symptoms of oral disease? Exceptionally bad breath, brownish plaque at the base of the teeth, excessive drooling, sore or bleeding gums when eating or chewing, and decreased appetite can all be signs that a pet's teeth require attention.

Maintaining strong dental health and a regular cleaning program not only assures that your pet's mouth and teeth will remain in excellent condition, but will also help to prevent infections that can spread through the bloodstream to affect major organs such as your pet's liver, kidneys, and heart.
