Our Asian fusion tapas-style menu features shareable plates catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs. From signature dishes like Karaage Korean Chicken and Pork Belly Bao Buns to healthy bowls and sweet treats, the menu blends traditional flavors with modern presentation. The kitchen remains open late Friday and Saturday, with takeaway options available through our carpark 'hole in the wall'.

The gelato bar offers over a dozen flavors including classic vanilla, chocolate, and innovative options like Rock Salt Caramel and Mango Gelato. What are Backbone Bar's opening hours?
We're open Tuesday-Thursday 11AM-10PM, Friday-Saturday 11AM-late, and Sunday 11AM-10PM. Closed Mondays. Late kitchen service available Friday and Saturday with phone confirmation.
What type of food do you serve?
We offer Asian fusion tapas, signature dishes like Karaage Chicken and Pork Belly Bao Buns, gelato, fish and chips, and a dedicated Groms menu for children.
Do you have options for children?
Yes! We feature a dedicated Groms menu, pinball machines, arcade games, and a gelato bar to keep children entertained while parents enjoy meals or drinks.

The best little secret in town. Oops. Truly amazing Japanese Food, authentically cooked. Great staff. Live music, pinball machines and a Gelato bar. But the beer selection on tap and off is mindblowing. Locally sourced and regular additions. All great value. Highly recommend.

Gavin and his team are outstanding. Awesome gin, excellent food. Live entertainment makes a great atmosphere. Great local business and in these times it is important to help Australia business and workers doing great things. Id definitely recommend going there for food and drinks.

Wow all the food was nice. Lovely staff that gave us good suggestions. We had the eggplant, korean bowl and chicken. Will come back for the beers when we are in the area again!

Unbelievably delicious tapas menu. Not only that but the separate menu catering for vegans and GF folk is quite extensive! Plenty of local brews on tap with a pretty nifty map on the wall showcasing their locations. And to cap things off we have a sweet location, cool decor and a couple of retro arcade machines.
