Due to a Veterinary Surgeon shortage Swan Hill Veterinary Clinic will no longer be opening Saturday mornings and will no longer be providing an afterhours service on the weekends and public holidays. The Swan Hill Veterinary Clinic has been serving the local community and surrounds since the 1960's.
The practice has grown and evolved to cater for the requirements of our region. The current owners, Ben and Tim Russell, took over in 2007, continuing to grow the thriving practice. Throughout our history, pet owners have come to rely on us as a friendly, diligent and caring partner in the treatment of their animals.

The Swan Hill Veterinary Clinic has a proud history of serving the community and surrounds for over 40 years. Dr. Bob Taylor came to Swan Hill in 1969 and worked with Dr. Dion Donalis. The practice was initially in the arcade in the centre of town. In 1973, Dr Mike Russell joined Dr Taylor following the retirement of Dr Donalis, and they became partners in 1974.

We are well equipped and able to offer a range of services.

An annual physical exam is vital to maintaining the health and well being of your companion. It is also a great opportunity to raise any concerns or queries you may have. In addition to the annual health check it is strongly recommended that preventative medicine is undertaken to protect both pets and family from some common ailments.

Swan Hill Veterinary Clinic offers a large range of equine services, including reproductive services, dentistry and surgery. Consultations, poor performance, lameness and pre-purchase examinations are also offered. Our diagnostic services include radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy and heamatology/biochemistry blood work.
Livestock

At the Swan Hill Veterinary Clinic we have a wide range of equipment to aid in the many and varied treatments that your livestock may require. We have been associated with the region for many years so it is likely that any issues you may have, we have seen before. We have the appropriate accreditation to carry out Johne's and Brucellosis testing in sheep.
