Having traveled to India, New Zealand and Australia, I had previously made the mistake of overpaying for an electronic visa for visiting these countries. I found out later that one of the services that I had used wasn't even the official website for the Indian government!
I was glad to see that someone has put the official links to government electronic visa application websites online. It was really easy to find what I needed and make sure that I was headed to the right website.

I was just approved for my temporary residence partner visa 820 today with the help of eVisas. My agent, Trent, made the whole process as easy as possible, provided us with a list of exactly what we needed to do, and always communicated and responded to my questions in a timely fashion.
If you are from the US and applying for a visa the only thing… I recommend is that you make sure to sort out your US and state police/background check at the very beginning, as it can take weeks to sort out, especially if you need to get fingerprints taken.
But, eVisas made the whole process sooooo less stressful
