Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic
Southern Cross was born out of a belief that things could be done differently in veterinary medicine. Pet owners should be given all the options - not simply given two: 1) the 'right' and 2) the 'wrong' and pressured into one. It's time that the gap between veterinary medicine and human medicine was shortened.

With unique partnerships to human hospitals, the most advanced human equipment in radiology, surgery and dentistry and customer service that cannot be beaten. This is the Southern Cross dream. Our vision is simple: to marry the latest in animal hospital technology, medicine and compassion together, while providing the best in surgery, the best medical management and the best service.

Pet Dentistry
Report
Tooth decay is a leading cause of 'halitosis' or bad breath in pets. The same reasons people get bad breath apply to pets - periodontal pockets, gingivitis, root exposure and gum infections all affect dogs and cats. Even if your pets crowns (the exposed part of the tooth) are clean, there could be disease lurking below the gum line.
Cat Vaccinations
Report
Cat and Kitten Vaccinations are the only way to protect them against certain diseases that are highly contagious and can be fatal. Your veterinarian, in partnership with you, will choose the most appropriate vaccination for your cat. If your cat or kitten has access to the outdoors, they need additional vaccinations to protect against FeLV (feline leukaemia virus) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus, which leads to feline AIDS).
