Surgical Services
Report
Although it is never too late to desex your pets, we recommend performing the surgery when they are around 6 months old. Preventing unwanted litters - raising puppies or kittens can be very costly, and may add to the already overwhelming number of stray animals that are put down each year. Being in a country town with no afterhours service available after 8pm, labour complications can be lethal to both the female and young.
Orthopaedic
Report
Orthopaedic surgery encompasses any surgery that is related to bones and joints. Our veterinarians' high level of expertise and our practice's fully equipped surgical suite allows us to perform certain orthopaedic surgeries that your pet may require. Complicated orthopaedic cases, such as spinal surgery, may need to be referred to a specialist orthopaedic surgeon.
Dental
Report
Dental diseases involve more than just bad breath, tooth loss, gum infection and pain. It also has the potential to shorten your pet's lifespan by spreading dangerous bacteria in the circulation causing serious diseases to the heart, liver, kidneys or lungs. When there is a build up of bacteria, food particles and saliva on the teeth, plaque is formed.
