Chris and Sonia, the principle photographers of the studio, are both Masters of Photography in Australia and the USA and have collected hundreds of awards for their portrait, travel and wedding photography. Chris and Sonia have each taken the title of AIPP Queensland Wedding Photographer of the Year in consecutive years.
In addition, Chris has also won the Professional Photographer of the Year accolade and Queensland Landscape Photographer of the Year. Being Brisbane's oldest and only second generation photography studio, we have the collective experience of having photographed over 10,000 weddings and 15,000 portraits.

Chris loves coffee, cycling, mountain biking, playing golf, sleeping in on rainy mornings, travel, anything from a bakery, especially bakery treats while travelling, ice hockey, blue skies on a crisp winter's day, snow holidays, ice-cream and taking pictures.
Sonia loves going out for breakfast, the month of May, green tea, yoga especially the aerial kind, sitting in the sunshine, her fluffy blue point ragdoll cat Mia, travelling and exploring the world, the beach, shopping for homewares/furniture/clothes.Chris and Sonia joined forces in 2006 after working together for a few years and have been inseparable ever since.

Our Coorparoo studio is open by appointment only from Tuesday through to Saturday. We are CLOSED on Sunday and Mondays. After hours appointments are also available in the evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 6.00pm and 7.30pm. Our evening appointment times are very popular, please phone to confirm our next available evening.

Every photographic shoot begins with a mini brainstorm session to define 'the look' you need, so we can create the photographs that give you the image you want to project to the world. For some individuals, it might be professionalism/friendliness/power/authenticity etc. For company branding, it might be creating a consistent look and feel or colour palette.

Long answer - We are naturally people pleasers. Having been married for over 10 years ourselves we value just how important it is to have life's milestones not just captured but captured beautifully. We had wonderful photography for our wedding and since then of both of our children and we literally see these images in our home everyday and know how much joy they can bring.
Portraits

Our family photographs are something that are incredibly close to our hearts. For a long time we had photographed families and babies and loved the love that they brought into the studio. However, it wasn't until we also began the new family journey that we really understood what it was like to be parents and to want to hold onto moments in time.
