Hi, my name is Vicki and I've always loved photography, capturing moments in time forever. My first Camera was a Pentax M50 it was simple but fantastic, it still gets used from time to time. I love the mechanics of photography, from the framing and juxtaposition to the simple little things, such as the smile you can capture after tears have been falling from a sad child's face.
First and foremost I am a mother of two beautiful girls, they feature heavily in my portfolio. With my love of photography and my children I decided to do portraiture, and as a mum I understand what juggling a budget is like. I also understand how important it is to capture not only those precious moments around the house or backyard as the kids play but for the essence to be brought out and glorified for all to see.

Congratulations on being a first time new mummy or a new mummy again. Each pregnancy is unique to each person, we'll capture what is unique and beautiful about you. Whether you have the pregnant glow or feel like a beached whale, every mummy to be is beautiful, it's a time to be celebrated and remembered, I will make sure I capture your best angles and will show you just how amazing you are.

To welcome your newest little family member to the world, Sessions are best done of babies in their first 14 days to capture all the precious memories, all the little things in their tiny little live, they grow so fast and these moments will pass by very quickly. On the day please expect some fun, and a bit of waiting while bub settles.
A standard 1 hour session takes on a whole other dimension when you add cake and balloons. Great to celebrate a 1st birthday or even a 10th. Cake smash is a funny and fun way to celebrate the anniversary of a birth by watching a little one smashing a cake and eating it too. Each child is different some get confused, some get in and smash and some just want to take dainty little bites, what ever they do its all caught by our photographer.
This is the same principle as a fairy portrait session, it's what we call it for the boys or for those that do not want to be fairies. You child will be directed to sit in various poses, and encouraged to use there imaginations to assist in getting the desired effect that can be later 'brought to life' in the finished product.

Children are always growing and changing, especially in their early years. Little things like their smiles change from year to year, things you see but may not notice. Regular photography sessions capture it all, allowing for those adorable walks down memory lane. Funny noises, laughs, smiles and temper tantrums.
