Spearwood Dental Centre has been providing quality dental treatment to the local area since 1980 and prides itself on its friendly staff and family friendly service. We are located on the corner of Rockingham Road and Paulik Way, with the entrance to the carpark accessible from Paulik Way. We accept all private health insurance cards, and with our HICAPS system you can claim your rebate at the time of your appointment.

Dr Laura obtained her dental degree from UWA in 2011 with honours, and has practiced in the Spearwood, Belmont and Mandurah areas over her career. She loves the diversity of work that general dentistry provides and meeting and helping a wide variety of people. The problem solving and intricacy of the work is fascinating, and no two days are ever exactly the same!

At Spearwood Dental Centre will check the health of your mouth, complete with x-rays, and discuss with you your treatment aims and needs. We will then provide you with a written estimate of treatment costs for your future appointments. A scale and clean removes the calculus, also known as tartar or hardened plaque, and staining from the surface of your teeth.
Your First Visit

Once you have met the friendly team, we will discuss your reason for attending. If the reason for your visit is emergency treatment (for instance - toothache or a broken tooth or filling) this will be our primary focus for the appointment. Otherwise we will generally complete a full clinical and radiographic (x-ray) examination and complete a scale and clean.
Pain Control

It is amazing how something as small as a tooth can cause so much grief! If you have pain in a tooth, gum or facial swelling or other pain in your mouth please let our friendly receptionist know at the time of booking and we will endeavour to fit you in as soon as possible. At your appointment you will be asked about the history of the pain before your dentist conducts an examination.
