Hand Therapy

Physiotherapy

Can I claim private health insurance?
Most health funds provide rebates for custom orthoses. We can direct bill private health insurance for inpatient services when your insurer is contracted to the hospital.

I have been to Extend Rehabilitation Greenslopes for two injuries both involving shoulders. One a dislocation of my right and the other, a fall causing significant loss of function in my left plus hip pain.
Ben at Extend Greenslopes treated me both times and his understanding and skills and his ability to explain what he found and what was needed to fix it was outstanding. I would recommend him and Extend Rehabilitation Greenslopes without reservation.

I had an appointment on 31 May 2021. I didnt even get past reception before I was made to feel like I wasnt important to their business. No one asked me my name, or if I even had an appointment. I was left to sit in the waiting area for 20 minutes before I left in disgust and totally disappointed. A follow up call was also pointless. No apology or explanation why I wasnt greeted on arrival or left to sit without any acknowledgement that I was even there. The Physio could have been exceptional, but thats something Ill never know.

Where would we have been without Extend when my 84 yo mother broke her wrist? Great professional practice and the light splint made her life bearable. Continual exercise and monitoring led to full use again. Thanks guys!
