My name is Jo and I started my cake journey in 2009! Wow that's a long time ago and after several years of working full time and baking full time, I quit my day job in 2016 and founded Cake My Day by Jo. Since then I have spent time developing many tasty premium cake flavours (all baked from scratch, no pre-mixes here) and I have become one of Brisbane's best buttercream wedding & celebration cake specialist.
With each and every cake created, I use the freshest, most natural, highest quality and locally sourced ingredients (including organic when ever I can get my hands on it) giving my cakes a fantastic flavour & texture. We charge the same price for our cakes regardless of what your cake is for i.e. weddings, celebrations, events & corporate cakes. The reason wedding cakes can be expensive is because generally the more people you want to serve, the larger the cake, the more complex and detailed the design will mean more time, ingredients, decorations etc. so this will naturally result in a higher price.

We have kept our flavour range simple, with all cakes, fillings & buttercreams made fresh from scratch. Choose the flavour as it is listed or mix & match from our alternative filling and buttercream range. Close your eyes and imagine you're having pancakes & ice-cream for breakfast and that exactly what this flavour tastes like - filled with Canadian maple syrup & vanlla SMBC.
