As a backpacker, its hard to find a hair salon that you trust your hair too if you haven't been before but after visiting public hair, I have now found my go to place for the foreseeable! Johnny was just amazing, my hair feels and looks better than ever, I've had so many compliments. The salon itself is a vibe with good music and aesthetic and all the staff who I met were lovely. Prices are also actually reasonable compared to other places in the northern beaches. Thank you for fitting me in during the festive season!

Glam Squad sorted at Public Hair. Great blow dry by Ash and Tracey for stunning makeup. Using beautiful organic products and makeup brand Tracey nailed the brief and gave me the most beautiful glam look. I received compliments all night. John intuitively understands who you are and what suits you, Im comfortable to completely surrender to what he thinks is best and havent regretted this once in the many years hes been cutting my hair. It was no surprise that Tracey matches this skill with makeup. I couldnt have been happier with the result and was impressed with the beautiful product range. But it's not just their skills that make this place special; John, Tracey, and the whole team are genuinely lovely.

She is such an amazing colourist, she understands what will work for you and what wont and she tells you honestly. I have long thick hair and Anita knows exactly how to cut it (and exactly how not to).But her blow drys are absolutely off the charts! Whether its styling for a dress up party or a ball through to easy sun kissed bronde and a cut that suites my busy beach life style.
