Piano Tuner Perth
Website
Hi I'm Stephanie "Piano Tuner Perth", and I would like to keep your piano looking and sounding like new so that you can continue to enjoy it for a lifetime! I specialize in tuning Yamaha, Kawai and Alex Steinbach pianos and also offer a piano clean & polish service. I'm Jon from Perth Piano Removals, I've been moving pianos for over ten years- I use Stephanie Kelly for all of my piano tuning.

She is always on time, friendly, and does an amazing job looking after your piano. I highly recommend her "tune plus clean and polish" deal to most of my clients and they usually take her up on it as it's great value and makes such an amazing difference to any piano. Give her a call, you won't regret it!

About
Report
My passion is returning and maintaining Perth's best pianos to their top condition, so that you can share in the full enjoyment that owning and playing a quality piano should bring! Often I see really nice pianos around Perth that unfortunately have not been regularly maintained and it makes me a little bit sad!
Piano Care Tips
Report
I advise new piano owners to take the best care of your piano so that it can last your entire lifetime, and your children's too! If you take a few simple steps, your piano will continue to give you enjoyment for many years, and hold it's value too - bonus! Don't put food or drinks on top of your piano!
How should I clean my piano
Report
Best is a barely damp cloth and just wipe down the keys to wipe off finger sweat and other marks. All brass on your piano will tarnish over a few years and eventually will look quite horrible. You can buy Brasso from Woollies or Coles for $9 a bottle and with a cloth and a lot of 'elbow grease' (hard work!) you can bring all your brass back up to shiny and new!
Piano Moving
Report
This is due to their large cast iron frame which is needed to hold the immense string tension over the soundboard. Not only are they heavy, but their shiny finish and sharp corners are incredibly easy to damage, not to mention your floors, doorways and back!

I never recommend you try to move your piano yourself, and don't even recommend getting your general furniture removalist to do it with the rest of the furniture- your piano is a musical instrument, not just a piece of furniture! There are a few specialist Perth Piano Movers, but Jon from Perth Piano Removals only moves pianos and is who I use frequently and recommend to all my customers.
Learning Piano
Report
Learning to play piano at school is a common way students can access regular piano lessons and many schools have a dedicated music department. Ask if your child's school provides piano lessons or can recommend a piano teacher. Hiring a private piano teacher is the most common way of accessing lessons in person and this can often be done at the teacher's premises or in your own home, depending on which teacher you decide on.
