Pruning or lopping is one of the most effective ways of keeping trees in optimum health, but needs to be done correctly by a professional arborist.

At Quinn's Tree Care our qualified arborist's can work with any existing hedge with skill and precision - pruning trees or trimming shrubs into a neat tidy framework for your garden in order to create structure and style. Hedges need regular care and maintenance to look their best - some large hedges may need to be trimmed at least twice annually.
Tree Care

When branches are torn from trees they can cause large unsightly wounds or leave large stubs that the tree may find difficult to repair by natural callusing. An un-callused wound can become decayed and infested with pests. This could lead to the eventual death of the tree. Split trees are also commonly seen after a recent storm or after strong winds & usually require the tree to be removed.
Palm Maintenance

A well Pruned & maintained palm can look spectacular in the garden. Certain species of palms, we sometimes refer to as self cleaning palms & require little maintenance if any e.g. Alexandria (Archontophoenix alexandrae) or Bangalow palms (Archontophoenix cunninghamiana) but other species of palms such as Cocos palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana) require yearly maintenance as they don't shed their fronds, seed pods or fruits.
