We are Meggy and Fabrice Delaunay, owners of Chouquette. We are a French family with 3 daughters. We are originally from Normandy but traveled a fair bit before settling in Brisbane six years ago. We lived in Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean for five years and more recently in Wellington, New Zealand for seven years.

At Chouquette we are passionate about bread; we use the best Australian flours to make sure our bread is always consistent and delicious. Every weekend we bake a range of speciality breads, (pumpking loaf, olive loaf, fruits loaf.), bread lovers can satisfy their cravings for unique and amazing bread!

A traditional French patisserie, a piece montee, which is often served at weddings, christenings and many other celebrations. It is a cone shape of profiteroles (choux pastry filled with creme patissiere) bound with toffee, and decorated with nougatine (slivered almonds and caramel). Any additional choux in between these sizes or in addition will include the same flavour filling as per those on the croquembouche and provided in boxes.
