Is there enough greenfield land on the Gold Coast to support our rapidly growing population? This may surprise some, but the answer is no. The South East Queensland Regional Plan 2017 (SEQRP) identifies that the Gold Coast will require an additional 158,900 dwellings by the year 2041 to accommodate an anticipated increase in population of 351,100 people.
