Grass Varieties
Report
Our Maitland turf farm offers lawn options such as Kikuyu, Couch, Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo & Sir Walter Buffalo. We can provide turf solutions to suit any situation. Kikuyu is a vigorous growing warm season lawn. It can tolerate a high amount of wear and recovers quickly from damage, making it suitable for highly used areas.
Sir Walter Buffalo
Report
Developed to grow well in shady conditions where other turf varieties like kikuyu and couch were not well suited. One of the many benefits of Sir Walter is that your lawn will stay green all year round! This buffalo variety is a tough, broad leaf grass that is a great option for high traffic areas like suburban backyards.
Site Preparation
Report
For large open areas your best option for site preparation is using a local bobcat operator. If you give us a call we can try and recommend someone we have worked with. Your local bobcat operator can prepare the site and we can even organise for the turf underlay to be delivered to your site ready for them to spread!
Lawn Care & Maintenance
Report
Water your turf - your turf must be kept moist until the roots have taken hold (2-3 weeks in warmer months). This lawn care step is very important. Once roots have taken, soak well once a week or as weather conditions require. Less frequent deep watering establishes a deep root system allowing for better tolerance to drought.
Guaranteed To Grow
Report
Here at Eturf we are dedicated to ensuring our customers have a strong healthy lawn for the long term. Too often we have seen new lawns installed and only a few months later the turf is slowly losing its vigor and appearance. An organic turf underlay (at a minimum of 50mm) must be used prior to installing our turf.
