High Tea
Our traditional high tea experience features house-made finger sandwiches, sweet and savoury treats, and freshly baked scones served on a three-tiered silver stand. Accompanied by premium leaf teas in fine English china, this service is perfect for birthdays, bridal showers, or special celebrations. Available Tuesday-Saturday with advance booking required.
Breakfast
Start your day with our extensive breakfast menu featuring classic dishes like three-egg omelettes, French toast, and corn fritters. All meals are freshly prepared using local ingredients, with options available for dietary requirements. Served daily from 7:30am in our heritage setting with park views.
Lunch
Enjoy our lunch menu featuring light refreshments and heartier options in a historic setting. From refreshing salads to substantial mains, every dish showcases regional produce. Dine indoors surrounded by architectural details or outdoors in our garden courtyard opposite Queens Park.
Special Occasion Catering
We create bespoke catering solutions for weddings, corporate events, and private functions in our heritage venue. Our team specialises in high tea services for up to 50 guests, with custom menus and presentation that match your event's theme and requirements.
Gluten-Free Options
We accommodate gluten-free dietary needs across our menu while maintaining exceptional taste and presentation. Our kitchen team prepares these items separately to ensure quality and safety, though we cannot cater for vegan, dairy-free, or lactose-free requirements.

What high tea options are available?
We offer traditional high tea with finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats. Gluten-free options available. $58 per person or $69 with prosecco.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
We accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian requests. Unfortunately we can't cater for vegan, dairy-free, or lactose-free requirements.
What are your opening hours?
We're open seven days a week from 7:30am to 2:00pm, serving breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea.
Can I book for special occasions?
Yes, we host bridal showers, birthdays, and weddings. Minimum 48 hours notice required with 50% deposit.
Is the cafe accessible?
Our heritage building has level access to dining areas and accessible toilets for customer convenience.

A whole package: great food, atmosphere and service. Very much enjoyed spending time here this morning for a good coffee and a slice of cake on a cosey corner and then a Yumm lunch. If you'd like a particular seating you probably need the call ahead.

It was the first time we had a nice meal in Toowoomba. We thought we'd have a coffee only, but their menu looked so good and decided to have lunch there. Delicious food and generous serve, great service, too.

Went there for breakfast, food was really good. Service was exceptional. Our waitress (Stacia?) was lovely and went out of her way to organise some ice for my foot that I injured earlier that day. She kept checking in and was super friendly!! Thanks for the great service.

Cafe Valletta is such a beautiful place for a rest and meal. Sitting inside allows you to appreciate the pretty stained glass windows. If you sit outside won the terrace, you can then appreciate the beautiful flowers in the garden and enjoy the fountain. I ordered the bacon and egg with mashed avo on brioche bun. They even toasted the bun so that its crispy. Very delicious.

Beautiful place. The young wait staff were fantastic. Run off there feet but communicating well and calmly. I was there a couple of times on the 18 and 19/9 during the festival of Flowers. The food was great , so I had breakfast there twice.

After an ordinary breakfast the previous day at a nearby cafe, Cafe Valetta righted the ship for me. Great friendly service, my rhubarb porridge was spot on, and coffee was great.

An amazing place. The design, the deco, indoor and outdoor everything looks so amazing and the outdoor looks like from the baroque era. We had here a coffee and it was very delicious and I'm sure that the food is super delicious too. I highly recommend booking a table in advance, even for breakfast because it's a really busy place. And from here you can go immediately to the park, it's nearby and the cafe has a parking area too. Amazing.
