As one of the Originals of Security Doors and Screens in Western Sydney we are very proud to share our story. In 2002 Rimfire Security Doors became official Crimsafe licensee's. 2012 came and it was time for Yul to retire and follow his passion of travelling with that he passed on his pride and joy onto to his nephew Peter who brings a wealth of knowledge in trade and over 10 years industry experience with him.
Peter's role within the family business is Sales & Installations Manager. Crimsafe's unique Screw-Clamp technology means that the mesh is screwed into the frame and clamped down with a vice like grip using the Crimsafe Screw-Clamp. This makes Crimsafe much stronger than other products that use a plastic wedge to hold the mesh in place.
When hit by an impact like a kick, Crimsafe spreads the load around the whole frame and back into structure of the building, meaning Crimsafe can resist enormous impacts compared to plastic wedging systems which only localise the impact, making them relatively easy to kick out compared to Crimsafe.
