Established in 1991, Monash Surgical Private Hospital is a purpose-built facility to cater for day surgery, in particular in-vitro fertilisation (IVF). It functions as a private for profit, free standing day surgery facility specialising in gynaecological surgery and IVF treatment.
This commercial beginning represented the efforts of the medical specialist members of Carl Wood and Associates (CWA) and Monash IVF to open their own hospital, with a vision to create an establishment of world class excellence.

If you would like to discuss your health insurance with us please call our patient services staff on (03) 8545 8000. It is important that you provide all your health fund details on the Patient Registration Form (MR005) prior to admission to facilitate a smoother admission. You will be given a patient information pack containing the form by your specialist or IVF Patient Coordinator.

MSPH is situated on Clayton Road, 250 metres to the south of Monash Medical Centre and 250 metres north of Clayton train station. There is a MET bus stop directly opposite the main driveway. On arrival at the hospital you will find a basement and an upper level car park.
Two car spaces have been reserved on the upper level for patient pick-up and a car space has been designated for disabled persons on the right hand side as you enter the car park.Please tell the receptionist when you telephone the hospital if you need assistance with transferring or accessing the building.
