Welcome to Mia Valley Estate, a boutique family owned vineyard and winery in the renowned Heathcote Region of Victoria, Australia. Established in 1999, we grow mainly Shiraz vines with some Cabernet Sauvignon and so far have produced some of the most amazingly elegant and complex wines from our two vineyards on our property in Mia Mia.

Having a European heritage, wine is something I was brought up with. Gradually my palate grew until it became a passion; one day I knew that I would make my own wine - and so the journey began. I met my wife, Pam, in the late 70s; we were passionate about our sporting pursuits, wining & dining and travelling.
Mia Mia

Rich, elegant wine, a luscious harmony of dark cherry fruit and soft oak undertones, deep colour, rich ripe fruit characters, balanced & structured, cellaring will reward if you can wait that long. Bottled 2016, this wine exhibits dark cherry aromas with cherry and raspberry flavours, and a lingering finish.
Fortified Shiraz

A traditional Australian style vintage port made when the weather has been perfect and only the richest fruit has been selected. Enjoy after dinner with a cheese platter from now to eternity. Slightly different style to our previous two ports, but once again only produced from the richest fruit in the vineyard.
White Wines

The Viognier presents lush peach and honeysuckle scents with a round mouth filling texture some hints of nectarine followed by a lingering crisp finish. Pale straw colour with gentle floral notes on the nose and juicy lime on the palate, followed by fresh acidity and an elegant crisp finish. Excellent wine to compliment a dessert of apple or rhubarb pie, pale straw colour with hints of apricot on the palate.
