Cafe Services
We operate two locations offering dine-in and takeaway coffee experiences. The Midland cafe provides ample parking and indoor/outdoor seating, while Bayswater roastery welcomes walk-ins. Both locations serve freshly brewed coffee alongside light snacks. Free click-and-collect is available for online orders at both locations.

Steve Lomax established Bolt Coffee Roasters Coffee Roasters after 15 years in specialty coffee. His expertise in roasting techniques and commitment to quality drive our product development. Steve personally oversees all roasting operations and staff training programs. He actively participates in coffee industry events and sustainability initiatives.

What coffee blends do you offer?
We offer 8 regular blends including Vice, Cream, and Volcano, plus seasonal single origins from Colombia, Honduras, and Ethiopia. Decaf and pod-compatible options are available.
Are your products sustainable?
We prioritise eco-friendly packaging and source beans through ethical supply chains. Our roasting process minimises energy consumption while maintaining quality standards.
Can I visit your roastery?
Our Bayswater roastery welcomes walk-ins Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am. You can observe the roasting process and purchase fresh beans directly from our production facility.

Best coffee in Perth! I have been drinking Bolt coffee for about a decade now and it is still my favorite coffee to drink. The beans are great and there is a large selection of flavours and strengths. Well worth the visit if you are in the area... or even if you're not!

Amazing beans but for gods sake they just open when they feel like. Today was the 3rd time In a row Ive come here and its not open during opening hours.

Yes! What a sensational location. Hard to find, you need to part and then follow a small sign down a path and around a corner. Then there is a large outdoor seating area shaded by trees, and a great kids play area. It have a very Australian feel to it, with a hidden cool factor of melbourne. Love this place.

I had an awesome Coffee at Bolt Coffee Roasters HQ. You can even play some disk golf here, it's a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The coffee here could be Perth's best. I love the laid back atmosphere here too it is so relaxing, a really great place to sit back and enjoy the delicious coffee.

Steve has made coffee his life and it shows. Bolt coffee is a labour of love that has gone from strength to strength with the quality spreading like wildfire. The cafe is hidden away in the back of the Men of the Trees Nursery in Hazelmere. It provides a cool shady place to dream alone or catch up with friends. Also space for the kids to explore without feeling confined like a normal cafe. The coffee is perfectly made because Steve is a barista that knows his stuff. Do not ask for extra hot.....you won't get it and rightly so! Quite often there are tasty morsels to eat if you desire.
