Barrenjoey Locksmiths and Alarms was founded in 1975 on the northern beaches of Sydney by George and Jeanette Ramsay. George and Jeanette grew the business over the 35 years and ran the business to what it is today.

In 2009, the company was taken over by another local family, Ian and Bev Coltman with Lee and Kirsty Coltman. Lee started out as an apprentice, working for the company in various positions for 12 years before the transition to one of four directors.The company strives for the best in service and quality workmanship.
