Went out to the Lakes Entrance bowls club for dinner, recieved a warm welcome by staff upon arrival. I would highly recommend coming here for dinner, as our meals were generous and fresh. Our server Troy gave me and my family wonderful service. We weren't waiting to long for our meals to come out to us. We would come back for a meal in the future.

Gentleman running the bare foot bowls was extremely rude to me and my sister. They didn't explain how to play or the rules on the green and where extremely condescending and tried to use fancy lingo so we wouldnt understand him. Would not recommend for a family activity.

Venue ok. Staff friendly. Meal was horrible. Very disappointing. Dish description on menu did not live up to meal. More like boiled veggies and canned stew. Definitely would not eat there again.

Typical Bowls Club / RSL layout with lots of bar space and large dining room. We were after good old fish n chips but wow - there was nothing old or typical about the fish here. We've had fish n chips all over the place - Rick Stein's Bannisters, Harry Ramsdens in the UK, Fisherman's Wharf in SF, but I don't think we've had a better bit of fish than this. It was to die for special!! Service was quick and friendly even for us NSW blow ins and of course the price was right even for non members. Well worth the visit.
