Our Childcare Centre provides long daycare for 57 children aged between 3 months to 6 years, with four separate rooms and a dining room that children from both the Pre-Kinder room and Kindergarten room use for all meal times. This leaves the rooms for children's play and education. We offer a 3 year-old and 4 year-old Kindergarten program which is professionally ran by 2 Early Childhood Teachers.
Our framework is play based and is centered around the individual interests of the children. We also incorporate a range of incursions into our programs on a regular basis. We have a range of animals at our centre that we believe form a valuable role in a child's learning and development.

At Kidz Retreat we believe that by providing children with quality experiences and a secure, happy environment, where they are supported to develop their intellectual, social, emotional and physical skills, they will become confident and competent individuals. Our Centre is a purpose-built facility which is designed to provide an engaging and practical space where children are safe and feel welcome.
High level of Qualification across the service, including University trained Bachelors in Kindergarten. Our educators commit to and attend ongoing professional learning. That are inclusive and supportive of each child and family. We use a continuous attachment model throughout the service to build long term relationships with your child and their educators.
Kidz Retreat is a family owned Childcare Centre located in the heart of Geraldton. Kidz Retreat is extremely close to Centre Owner, Daneale Buckley's heart, as the purpose-built Centre was designed, built and operated by her mother and father opening late 2000. At this point Daneale commenced her career within the childcare industry while her younger siblings attended the Centre.
Here at Kidz Retreat our standards are set very high and we understand the most important factor in caring for your child is their sense of feeling secure and safe within their environment as well as offering the highest Education we can provided to each individual child within our care. We therefore go to great lengths to attract and retain the best Early Childhood Educators your child deserves.
Our programming is designed around a variety of learning styles and focuses on what the children are interested in. It is referred to as child initiated approach and draws from the Reggio Emilia ideology and the Early Years Learning Framework.

We've had 2 kids attending this day care centre for the past 4 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. They have amazing facilities, fantastic staff and they go the extra mile to ensure the kids have an enjoyable experience whenever they are at the centre. The food that is provided for the children is also amazing. Our kids have formed great relationships with all the staff and always seem happy to be there. Thanks to Daneale and the team for taking such good care of them.
