There are around 4.3 million Australians who have a disability. When it is fully rolled out, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will provide about 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. Once you have been accepted into the NDIS you will be offered a planning meeting where your NDIS Plan will be discussed.

Equity Works specialises in a wide range of disability support services for children and adults and have staff placed all across the Sunshine Coast. We can support you to build your skills in a range of areas and have fun while you are doing it. Lifeskills development can occur as individual supports or as part of a group. We often find that learning with others is more engaging and offers increased opportunities with learning occurring across many different life areas; individual skills, communication, and relationships.
