Services
Solid Timber Flooring
Solid timber flooring offers timeless elegance and durability, crafted from sustainably sourced Australian hardwoods. Ideal for residential and commercial spaces, it enhances property value while requiring minimal maintenance. Our range includes Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, and Oak, each providing unique grain patterns and long-term resilience through sanding and refinishing.
Engineered Flooring
Engineered flooring combines real timber veneers with multi-layer stability, resisting moisture and temperature changes. Perfect for kitchens and high-traffic areas, it offers the aesthetic of solid wood with easier installation. Our brands feature European Oak and Australian hardwood options, ensuring versatility for modern interiors.
Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring merges timber aesthetics with waterproof durability, suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and commercial settings. Its rigid core resists scratches and dents, while the UV-resistant finish maintains appearance over time. Available in Australian timber designs, it provides cost-effective, low-maintenance elegance.
Floor Sanding & Polishing
Our sanding and polishing services restore aged timber floors by removing surface damage and applying protective coatings. Using dust-extraction equipment, we ensure minimal mess while extending the lifespan of floors. Clients can choose clear varnish or stained finishes for a refreshed look.
Shutters & Blinds
We supply and install plantation shutters, PVC shutters, and roller blinds designed for insulation and style. These solutions reduce energy costs by regulating indoor temperatures while offering light control and privacy. Custom-made options ensure seamless integration with any interior design.
Questions
What types of timber flooring do you offer?
We provide solid timber, engineered, hybrid, laminate, and parquet flooring options sourced from sustainable Australian and international hardwoods.
Can engineered flooring be installed in bathrooms?
Engineered flooring is moisture-resistant but not fully waterproof; we recommend discussing specific options for high-humidity areas like bathrooms.
Do you offer installation services?
Yes, our professional team handles full installation, including subfloor preparation, ensuring seamless results for all flooring types.
How do I maintain hybrid flooring?
Hybrid flooring requires regular sweeping and occasional damp mopping; avoid excessive water to preserve its water-resistant properties.
Are your products eco-friendly?
We prioritise sustainably sourced materials, including FSC-certified timber and low-VOC finishes, to minimise environmental impact.
What warranty options are available?
Warranties vary by product; for example, our shutters include a 25-year transferrable warranty, while flooring brands offer coverage against manufacturing defects.

Highly recommend Heartwood Floors & Shutters! I had plantation shutters and roller blinds installed and I just love them. From ordering them, to installation, the service has been impeccable. There are so many colours and styles to choose from, there would be something to suit everyone. The measuring up was extremely accurate and installation only took a few hours. Thank you to Damien for answering all my emails promptly and Ryan for installing my fabulous shutters and blinds. Wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this amazing company to anyone.

I cannot speak highly enough of Damien and the team at HeartWood who recently laid, sanded and polished our entire house in solid spotted gum flooring. Every interaction was professional and the team worked to the highest standards. The results speak for themselves! You can be confident in dealing with HeartWood who I reccomend without any reservation.
