We founded Valentine Bowling Club in 1963 with a single green and modest clubhouse. Over the decades we expanded to a second green by 1965 and added bar facilities, a commercial kitchen, and a restaurant. Our club has grown to offer a range of entertainment options, including TAB, gaming machines, and Keno. We celebrate more than 50 years of service to the local community and continue to host functions in our dedicated room. Our commitment to quality is reflected in extensive renovations, such as the 2016 brandnew bar and alfresco dining area. In 2019 we refitted the gaming and sports area to provide modern, comfortable amenities.
The 2022 construction of a new synthetic bowling green demonstrates our focus on delivering topclass play for all skill levels. We sponsor local sports teams and community groups, reinforcing our role as a community hub. Our staff are experienced, courteous, and dedicated to exceeding guest expectations. We maintain impeccable facilities, including airconditioning and ample parking, to ensure a pleasant visit. Valentine bowling club has changed alot the menu was alot more scarce with the gf options being unknown I had to request what they could do gf however the still have gf food avalible

We were eagerly awaiting to try the new menu at Jessies Bistro, that was introduced in November. Rather disappointed with it, to say the least! The satay chicken, that has been a popular choice of mine for many years, is no longer on the menu. The garlic prawns, that were previously so delicious with the recipe they used, are now just your everyday garlic prawnsI asked for rice on the side and didnt get any rice at all! Our table also ordered scotch fillets, medium rare, which were ready before the prawns, and they were basically still mooing. Sent them back and had to wait for a

A great little club to visit.. Bistro has a wonderful menu with discounted prices for members.. Enjoy a beverage or meal whilst looking out over the beautiful Lake Macquarie.. Would definitely recommend...

Nice little club on the Macqurie lake foreshore. Great place to grab a beer, decent meal and gaze at the moored boats bobbing on the lake from your table
