Conditions
Report
We treat a wide range of common foot conditions such as fungal nails and arthritis, ingrown toenails, shin splints and more. We believe that conditions should not hold you back, and we work collaboratively to come up with a treatment plan and strategies to allow you to enjoy life to the fullest. Fungal infections in the nail often begin at the tip of the nail, gradually moving underneath the nail.
Toenail Fungus
Report
It is a common and treatable condition if you receive the advice and treatment options that are correct for you. It occurs when fungal microorganisms inhabit the nails. Additionally, these organisms prefer a dark and warm environment and toenails provide this. Fungal nail infections often begin at the tip of the nail and gradually move underneath the nail.
Plantar Fasciitis Heel and Arch Pain
Report
It is an inflammation, irritation or degeneration of the plantar fascia. Additionally, it is a band of tissue under the foot that connects the heel bone to the ball of the foot. In the past, this condition was known as heel spur syndrome. However, current research suggests that plantar fasciitis is a separate issue to pain caused by heel spurs.
Achilles Tendinitis Tendinopathy/Tendinosis
Report
Symptoms include a gradual onset of pain at the back of the heel, stiffness and aching. In addition, the tendon is usually tender to the touch, and may contain lumps known as nodules. Additionally, if you experience severe pain after exercising, swelling of the back of the heel after physical activity or thickening of the tendon, these are all symptoms of achilles tendinitis.
