Michelle is a teacher/assessor, composer performer, equally at home on both classical and electric guitars. She has extensive live playing experience in a wide variety of performance situations ranging from full-time Rock covers bands and original Rock groups in the 80s/90s, to vocal & guitar, classical guitar and guitar & flute duos, plucked string ensembles and classical trios since 1999.
Rob Moody
Report
Rob is a gifted performer and teacher of both the electric guitar and the acoustic steel-string guitar. He is equally at home on both and teaches and performs week in, week out between the two. He is passionate about music, all music! Rob took up the guitar in 1993 and was instantly hooked. He then commenced teaching guitar in 1998 and quickly established himself on a professional basis.

My name is Zac, and I'm a teacher here at Modern Guitar Tuition. I started my music journey 15 years ago when I started playing clarinet and saxophone, but eventually I got onto the guitar and never looked back. I've always been impressed with the versatility of the guitar in all styles of music, so I've used guitar as a medium to explore many different musical genres and cultures such as jazz, blues, funk, rock, classical and flamenco.

Matt picked up the guitar in 1999, and was quickly hooked. Matt began teaching at Modern Guitar Tuition in 2007, and specialises in teaching Modern Guitar styles, electric and acoustic, to all age groups.
With a focus on building a strong foundation of correct left and right hand technique, Matt believes firmly that every student is individual and works hard to tailor each guitar lesson to suit the student, including, importantly, getting to play the songs a student enjoys listening to!

Our Blackburn studios were built in 2013 after we relocated from Box Hill- MGT's home since 1991. They are modern, well equipped teaching studios with 4 rooms and plenty of space. We're only a stone's throw from the center of Box Hill, and not far from the Eastern Freeway. We've got plenty of parking out the front, and a bus stop right near by that goes straight to Box Hill.
