After supplying and hiring equipment for special events, weddings and parties for over two decades. The Powell family are the second owners of Hire Port, owning the business now for 20 years and counting. Hire Port has been operating within the Mid-North Coast for over 28 years in total and enjoys contributing to the growth of Port Macquarie and the major events that it regularly holds.

Our service starts out as a consultancy service, sharing ideas, locations and visions with experience, capacity and budget. As a result of our initial consultation a scene and layout for your special day is created and a package is tailored.
For your ceremony, we can supply Arches, Red carpet, Post and chain partitioning, Balinese Flags, Guest chairs and Signing table, PA systems for the celebrant and an assortment of equipment delivered and picked up anywhere along the coast, hinterland or on the beach itself.

Events

Small local events to major regional championships, we have the team and capacity to meet and exceed expectations. We also cater further afield, working in conjunction with our colleagues North and South of us in partnerships this has lead to our equipment being utilized as far south as Gosford and North to Ballina.
Dance Floors
Report
They can be constructed on grass, concrete, gravel or carpet with the finished surface being ply based. Built as a 1.2m x 2.4m section with further sections added together until desired size is achieved. 3.6m x 4.8m is a common size for a dance floor which would cater for a function with approximately 80 guests.
Flooring

Our selection of appealing carpets can be rolled out over the concrete alone or as an additions to one of our flooring options if required. Flooring is an appreciated addition by all high heel wearing women in a wedding marquee. With the addition of a selected carpet on top appearance is great and no women will lose her shoes in the soft grass again.
