Gold Coast Tattoos was first established in a beach-front studio in Kirra by world renowned tattooist and artist Paul Braniff. What started as a single studio has since expanded to three modern and esteemed studios featuring local artists as well as the occasional international guest artist. Our studios are home to some of Australia's best tattooists each specialising in all styles of tattooing.

All Gold Coast Tattoos studios are fully licensed and approved by the Queensland Health Department. Gold Coast Tattoos is a family owned and run company comprising three studios: Skin FX Tattoos, Crossfire Tattoos and Gold Coast Tattoos. Established on the Gold Coast in 1985, we have come to be the most well-known, respected and experienced tattoo studios housing some of Australia's best tattooists that specialise in all styles of tattooing, big or small.
Ben Braniff

Ben began tattooing in 1994, under his father Paul, and currently works out of the Gold Coast Tattoos studio. Ben is incredibly versatile, and his extensive experience in the industry allows him to comfortably adapt to any style of tattooing providing work of the highest quality. His favourite styles include black and grey, colour realism, Latino or Chicano designs, graffiti, and organic biomech.

His send-off showed the love and respect he had gained over his short life with friends and industry professionals from all over the world travelling to show their respects and say goodbye to a great man. Not a day goes by that he is not thought of by his family, friends and all those who proudly wear his art.
