Services
Woongooroo Estate is a small boutique Vineyard, Cellardoor and Cafe Wine operation situated in the beautiful Somerset Region in south-east Queensland. Woongooroo was one of the first wineries to be established in the region, and is a member of the Somerset Valley's Grape and Wine Association Inc. Co-owner Phil has been the Association's President since 2011.
We do all the work so that you and your group have a great day out in the beautiful and vibrant Somerset Region. Woongooroo Estate Mystery Rallies take you through the picturesque countryside of the Somerset Region, with scenery ranging from magnificent lakeside drives, to lush farming country and rainforest beauty.
Australiana Singing with instruments, patrons will be taught rhythms with accompanying instruments like lager-phone and clap-sticks. Australiana Mini Trivia Challenge - teams of four, two or three rounds of ten questions - as time permits. Tour of Kilcoy and surrounding areas - tour guide boards your bus at Yowie Park, or at the Estate if you have Morning Tea there.
In exchange for a seat on your bus, Woongooroo Estate can provide a tour guide and delight your group highlighting points of interest and historical knowledge about the town of Kilcoy and its surrounding district. How many times do you drive through a country town and comment on how attractive and quaint it looks?
Don't like drinking on an empty stomach? Then there's nothing like the accompaniment of great local cheeses with our great local wines. The Estate has pleasurably invested the time to test and measure which of our fine wines collaborate best with the finest local Maleny and Kenilworth cheeses. Phil and his family (and loveliest dog Roxy) were so welcoming and friendly! Not only did we enjoy an informative and delicious wine tasting, but we also learned a lot about Pome fruits, palate types and the like.
Overall a lovely way to spend the morning on our visit to the Somerset region, and taking home a few tasty drops. Would highly recommend for a boutique tasting experience with heart.

What a wonderful find today. The husband and I enjoyed a very yummy steak panini along with a wine tasting. The wine is excellent and well priced, needless to say we have stocked up on a few varieties. Phil and Gail are super hosts and we will definitely be back for the Alpacas Walks. Thanks Phil and Gail!

My parents were visiting so we decided to try this local boutique winery and we had a fantastic time. Phil and Gail were wonderful hosts, taking the time to explain their wines and tell us about their winery. The food was absolutely delicious (and well priced), and the wine was superb. I highly recommend a visit to Woongooroo Estate Winery and look forward to returning there myself in the future.
