Merlin motors themselves were not too bad, however the installation work suffers from incomplete installation including no power was supplied to the motor, old locking mechanism was not remove which was discussed . Poor wiring exposed and visible. Motor occasionally experiencing friction lowering door. Remotes programmed incorrectly two needed replacing but I had to handle this myself via Merlin not via the installer. I was in two minds about getting my 50 yr counterweight tilt door (although 50yrs old its built like a tank) automated, I had been leaving with if for 12 years and by the end I was over the manual operation. In the end I was more than happy to get it automated, not many companies would even attempt doing the job as it is complex for someone who has no idea. I was recommended PDS by another company in Dandenong and they exceeded my expectations. An absolute professional outfit. 5 stars!

Had 2 x single roller garage doors replaced and motorised. PDS were easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful. They gave us a variety of options to choose from and were able to perfectly colour match the doors to what we needed. Once ordered the doors arrived extremely quickly and PDS installed the very next day.
Fantastic quality product and installation. And it they are SO quiet - it's fantastic. Highly recommend!

I can highly recommend PDS Garage Doors & Gates - 5 Stars definitely. My auto roller door was faulty and from my 1st phone call to Rebecca to the prompt service and repair provided by Nathan was absolutely wonderful. Nathan's professionalism, his positive attitude, and his wanting to get the job done perfectly was so nice to see. Thank you so much.

I recently used PDS to replace my garage door opener and the service from each person that I dealt with was great. I spoke with Rebecca on the phone to determine what type and model would be the best. A second call to Jason early in the morning, arranged an afternoon appointment for installation later that same day. The install was carried out by Nathan, who had called me to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, he was polite and friendly, very efficient and did the changeover in under an hour. The new opener is so quiet and smooth and the three devices that came with it (2 x remotes
