We are a small boutique steel fabrication company specializing in the supply, fabrication and installation of structural steel for the domestic building industry. We have been located on the same site in Warrigal Road Chadstone since the business was started by Vernon Ungar in 1950. There have been many changes to the area since then.
Ungar Metals is positioned on the corner of Peverill Street between the Monash freeway and Waverley Road with a large Council car-park at the rear. Access to the business is easy being directly off Warrigal Road or off Waverley Road through Shrewsbury Street. Ungar Metals has always been owned by Mr Ungar and his family and many of his employees have worked with him for over 30 years.

At our site in Warrigal Road we operate a number of Mig Welders and oxytorches. We also have a guillotine, steel cropper, specialist saws, drills and punches and a small plate roller. We deliver our steel to your building site, home or factory with our own crane-truck which has an overall reach of 20 metres.
