I teach pure internal Wing Chun Kung Fu, an extremely effective martial art that doesn't rely on muscular strength or flexibility. You'll learn to generate great amounts of force using mechanical principles, geometrical structures and the hidden power of your mind. This is the first martial art that Bruce Lee learnt and the one that most influenced his own teachings later in life - so you're in great company!

Wing Chun is a very effective martial art. According to legend it was invented by a Shaolin nun, Ng Mui, and named after her most talented student, Yim Wing Chun. Literally translated wing chun means eternal spring time. It doesn't rely on muscular strength or flexibility and allows practitioners to generate great amounts of force using mechanical principles, geometrical structures and the hidden power of the mind.

I commenced my path as a martial artist close to 25 years ago. In my youth I trained in a wide variety of styles and schools until I discovered Wing Chun in 2003. I was so blown away by what it offered, that I decided to stop everything - and I mean everything! - and study this art full time.

I quit work and trained more than 40 hours every week for two years under the close guidance of Sifu Mark Spence who was the head instructor at the IWCA at the time and later founded Chi Sau Club.In 2004 I had the opportunity to visit Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin in Hong Kong, a direct pupil of the famous Ip Man(Bruce Lee's instructor).
