General Admissions

For planned surgical patients, the booking for your hospital stay will be made through your Doctor's rooms. Where possible, we require your Admission Forms two weeks prior to your Admission date. This will ensure we can confirm your hospital booking and your eligibility prior to your Admission. You can save time and paper by completing your pre-Admission forms online.
Endoscopy Centre

In some cases, your Doctor will book you in for the next day. In these cases it is imperative that you contact us as soon as possible and speak to the Administration staff to confirm your admission and details relating to your hospital stay. Veterans / DVA

Gosford Private Hospital is a Tier 1 provider for the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). We are pleased to provide a range of services to eligible veterans and war widows, including those listed below. The hospital has a Veterans' Liaison Officer (VLO) available to co-ordinate the hospital stay of DVA patients with hospital healthcare providers.

Gosford Private offers both shared and private rooms. While we make every endeavour to provide you with your accommodation preference, please understand that in certain circumstances of high activity or emergency admissions, it may be necessary to admit you to a shared room. All rooms include a TV with Foxtel and local radio stations, complimentary WiFi, a telephone for local calls and ensuite facilities.

Our Catering team and dietitians aim to provide you with nutritious and tasty meals to aid your recovery. A menu is provided each day, allowing you to select meals according to your tastes and dietary requirements. We also have a range of special diets available to meet your needs, and for those wishing to observe religious, cultural or personal principles.
