Our Compounding Pharmacy is one of the most experienced in complex and sterile compounding in Australia having been established in 2001 by Dr Michael Serafin PhD, back when only a handful existed in this country.

Simple compounding has always been apart of pharmacy practice in Australia however in the mid to late 1990's with advances in technology simple compounding pharmacy evolved into more complex compounding practice which involves more complex and sterile formulations being performed in state of the art laboratory facilities using newer advanced technologies as opposed to how it had previously been done mixing simple creams and mixtures in an old mortar and pestle in a regular pharmacy dispensary.

Complementary Compounding Services was established by Dr Michael Serafin in 2001 well before the resurgence of compounding pharmacies in Australia. Previous to this after completing his Bachelor of Pharmacy with first class honors Dr Serafin then went on to complete his Ph. D in pharmaceutical chemistry researching and developing new strategies to directly target cancer cells for more effective cancer treatments with fewer side effects.

We are a compounding only pharmacy which means we are compounding specialists. Our primary focus and goal is to provide pharmaceutical quality products in order to dispel the stigma held by some that compounded products are of inferior quality, which may be the case from some pharmacies but certainly not from us.

Complementary Compounding Services has a purpose built world class State-Of-The-Art multi-clean room compounding only facility. We have separate clean rooms separated by an ante room/air lock to avoid any cross contamination. The first is our negative pressure hazardous laboratory where hazardous medications are compounded.

Our Point of Difference

Our laboratory is a multi clean room facility which avoids any cross contamination of products and was built to USP standards. We have a negative pressure hazardous lab seperate to a positive pressure non hazardous lab. Each room has an independent air supply which is filtered to 5 microns. Each room is temperature, humidity and pressure controlled.

THINK TWICE TO ORDER HERE. I ORDERED AN IMPLANT FROM THIS DODGY WANNABE STERILE CHEMIST. MY DOCTOR OPENED THE CONTAINER TO FIND IT WAS BROKEN INTO 5 PIECES. MY DOCTOR REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME AS IT WILL BREAK DOWN TOO SOON AND BE INAFFECTIVE. WHEN I CALLED THERE WAS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY AND CONCERN BLAIMING IT ALL ON ME FOR NOT TAKING INSURANCE. I DIDNT EXPECT IT TO BE BROKEN DUE TO IMPLANTS FROM OTHER CHEMIST SURVIVED IN THE POST. NOW I NEED TO PAY ELSEWHERE FOR ANOTHER IMPLANT AND WAIT UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS. YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES THAT THE IMPLANT IS "BADLY" DESIGNED FOR POSTAGE. THE LEAST

Very poor customer services. I ordered eyes drop for my daughter, paid on Monday. Sent out on Wednesday with no tracking number provided. Monday still not receive eyes drop so I rang them to find out if the eyedrop sent.
The girl know Australia post is delayed so I told her shouldn't send mid week unless Australia post guarantee delivery next day.
This parcel now sit in some delivery Van or depot somewhere with the hot temperature 30c to 40c. The eyedrop is no good.
She just turn off my phone while I try to explain to her.
I wish you should train these staffs with professional manner and use

So far I have found dealing with this Pharmacy extremely lacking in their communication. Order prescription on the 1/06/2020, I received a call the next day that delay was three weeks and testing two so to call back in a few weeks to pay. I did this to find out that they only test once payment was made (order placed). Now why not communicate this when you first receive the Prescription? Now its going to take another three weeks to dispatch. If your medication is critical I suggest avoid dealing with this pharmacy.
