Services
Single Tooth Replacement
Replacing a single missing tooth with a dental implant restores natural appearance and function. The titanium implant integrates with the jawbone, providing a stable foundation for a custom crown. This solution prevents adjacent teeth from shifting and maintains jawbone density, offering a durable, long-term alternative to bridges or dentures.
Multiple Tooth Replacements
Multiple missing teeth can be replaced using implant-supported bridges, which anchor prosthetic teeth to fewer implants. This approach preserves jawbone structure and distributes chewing forces evenly. It eliminates the need for removable dentures, ensuring stability and comfort while restoring the ability to eat and speak confidently.
Full Arch Restorations
Full arch restorations replace an entire row of missing teeth with a fixed bridge supported by 4-6 implants. This method provides immediate functionality and aesthetics, avoiding the instability of traditional dentures. It stimulates the jawbone to prevent atrophy, offering a permanent solution for patients with extensive tooth loss.
Implant Supported Dentures
Implant-supported dentures eliminate the discomfort of loose dentures by anchoring them securely to implants. This option improves chewing efficiency, speech clarity, and confidence. Available as fixed or removable options, it combines the benefits of implants with the affordability of dentures, tailored to individual bone structure and needs.

Questions
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing tooth roots. They provide a stable base for crowns, bridges, or dentures, offering a natural look and feel.
Why choose implants over dentures?
Implants integrate with the jawbone, preventing bone loss and offering superior stability compared to traditional dentures. They allow normal eating and speaking without slippage or adhesives.
How long do implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last decades. The titanium post is durable, while the attached crown or denture may require replacement after 10-15 years due to wear.
Is the implant procedure painful?
Most patients report minimal discomfort during implant placement, managed with local anaesthesia and post-operative care. Recovery typically involves mild swelling and soreness for a few days.
Can I get implants if I have bone loss?
Bone grafting or augmentation may be recommended to strengthen the jawbone before implant placement. Dr Kassim assesses suitability during the initial consultation using X-rays and models.
How do I care for implants?
Care for implants like natural teeth: brush twice daily, floss, and attend regular dental check-ups. Professional cleanings help maintain implant health and longevity.

I am terrified of the dentist but really needed a dental implant. After putting it off for a long time I finally booked in. I was super impressed with Dr Kassim and the whole Southside team. They were really clear about what's involved with the procedure and all of the costs. I didn't feel pushed or obligated in anyway to go ahead with treatment which I really appreciated. Their costs were also really reasonable compared to other practices in the area. I highly highly recommend for anyone needing this treatment!
