I am a specialist Gynaecologist with private consulting rooms at Belmont and I operate at Warners Bay Private Hospital. I also hold a staff specialist position at the John Hunter Hospital.

My underlying philosophy is to provide you with an excellent standard of individualised care which aims to optimise your comfort and wellbeing. These symptoms, and the associated physical changes, can be managed in various ways including education and lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is also available if required.

Endometriosis affects approximately 5 to 15% of women. It is one of the leading causes of pelvic pain and reasons for laparoscopic surgery and hysterectomy in this country. While HRT reduces the risk of some debilitating diseases, it also increases the risk of others. Post-Menopausal Bleeding (PMB) is vaginal bleeding that starts at least 12 months after your last period.

The contraceptive pill, progesterone injections, Implanon, IUDs such as Mirena, diaphragm, condoms etc. Tubal Ligation/Occlusion - Virtually all tubal ligation/occlusion in non-pregnant women is done via a key-hole procedure known as laparoscopic tubal ligation/occlusion. I am happy to discuss these options with you in more detail to find the most appropriate choice to address your individual contraceptive needs.

Vaginal prolapse is characterised by the protrusion of any of the pelvic organs, namely uterus, bladder or rectum through the vaginal opening. Vaginal prolapse can cause no symptoms at all or can cause significant discomfort with symptoms such as a dragging sensation, difficulty emptying bowels, urinary dysfunction and discomfort with intercourse.
