I have been a livestock breeder, grazier and trader (cattle and sheep) for nearly 20 years. Since I can remember, I have always wanted to work in farming. I grew up in Kyneton and have lived in rural/regional areas all of my life, including Wagga Wagga, Hamilton, Bairnsdale and the Macedon Ranges. I come from farming stock, as my grandfather was a farmer and his sons (my uncles) continue to farm today.

So you could say that farming is in my blood. I've worked as a stock agent for Elders for five years, managed the Kyneton Saleyards for ten years, and bred, sold and traded cattle and sheep since I was 18 years old. As a small acreage landowner in Carlsruhe, I also have an interest in smallholdings and agri-tourism.
Services
Specialising in post and wire, exclusion or electric fencing for rural properties, large or small. We pride ourselves on a sturdy, quality construction. We cut and bale both small squares and round rolls across the Macedon Ranges throughout November and into December, depending on the season. We can create burn piles of fallen timber and remove gorse and blackberry bushes on your property.
Hay baling
Report
Whether it is for your own on-farm use or to sell, there is no substitute for quality hay. Hay can be done poorly, or it can be done well. It's not simply a case of having the right machinery - it's about the skills of the person operating the machinery and carefully timing each stage (cutting, curing, raking and baling) around changing weather conditions.
Property clean-up
Report
Fallen timber, branches, gorse and blackberry bushes are a common feature on rural properties and bush blocks. But if you like your property to look neat and tidy, you're probably tired of seeing this mess every day! And that's not to mention the fire risk that this added fuel load poses on your land.
