At In Touch Physiotherapy Mooroolbark and Ringwood, we focus on our patients from the moment they walk in the door. Our physiotherapists are highly trained and we pride ourselves in providing comprehensive treatment for a wide range of conditions. Our physiotherapists attend continuing education on a regular basis, which allows us to keep up to date with the latest physiotherapy research to aid in treatment.
The first thing you'll receive is a warm welcome from our receptionist. One of our physiotherapists will assess and, diagnose your condition, and then explain to you what's wrong. They will then propose and discuss an individualised treatment plan with you. We will use treatment techniques to best suit your condition and we may provide you with exercises to perform at home to help assist your recovery.

Report
At In Touch Physiotherapy, our 'hands on approach' gives our patients the best chance at achieving full recovery. We use techniques including joint mobilisation with physiological mobilisation, as well as accessory mobilisation (movements that patients cannot achieve on their own).
Mobilisation can help increase the range of movement of your joint, modulate pain, reduce muscular spasm through nocioceptive stimulation, and help treat joint dysfunction. We utilise dry needling techniques, using 'non-injection' needles, as used in the practice of acupuncture. This stimulates specific reactions in the target tissue for therapeutic effect.

Exercise Physiology
Report
However, when it comes to exercise, there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach. Our fully qualified, Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) can design an exercise program totally suited to you, to ensure you exercise safely and efficiently, with your goals and challenges in mind. An AEP is an allied health professional with a four-year equivalent university degree.
