Elm Cottage offers five distinct 4.5-star luxury cottages, each designed for privacy and comfort. Features include king-sized beds, modern kitchens, and pet-friendly policies. Situated 60 metres apart, they provide uninterrupted views of the Snowy Mountains. Ideal for families, couples, or groups seeking a tranquil retreat with access to outdoor activities.
Pet-Friendly Stays
Our retreat welcomes pets in designated cottages, with amenities like dog bowls and poop bags. Fully fenced options (Rivers Edge, Yellow Box, Red Gum) ensure safety, while enclosed balconies in Blue Gum and River Gum cater to smaller pets. We prioritize comfort for both guests and their furry companions.
EV Charging
Free Tesla 3-phase and universal EV charging stations are available to guests. Strategically located at the property, these facilities support eco-conscious travel and long-distance journeys through regional NSW and Victoria.

Is linen provided in the cottages?
Yes, all linen and towels are included. Guests only need to bring groceries, as we provide essentials like salt, pepper, and coffee.
Can pets enter the cottages?
Dogs are welcome inside but must avoid carpeted areas and furniture. We supply dog bowls, treats, and poop bags for convenience.
Are the cottages fully fenced?
Rivers Edge, Yellow Box, and Red Gum cottages are fully fenced. Blue Gum and River Gum have enclosed balconies for pet safety.
What activities are available nearby?
Popular activities include bushwalking, birdwatching, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding, and visiting Yarrangobilly Caves or Adelong Falls.

The cabins are well appointed. You bring your own food and drink but there is an excellent kitchen in our… cottage (Red Gum). Beds are very comfortable. The wonderful environment and careful positioning of the cottages means you have complete privacy. We will absolutely be back. David and Debbie are generous hosts.

Lovely rustic spacious cottage, surrounded by beautiful gardens overlooked from large deck. Overlooks the … running river which sounds very therapeutic at night. The cottage is extremely comfortable with everything you could need for a weeks stay or longer.

Owners are very judgemental. They discriminate and make you feel very uncomfortable. Not at all worth the cost to stay here.

We had the best mini holiday with the family grandkids and 4 dachshunds the owners go above and beyond with… their hospitality nothing was to much trouble can’t recommend this place highly enough 10/10

My partner and I have just spent the best 4 days we have had in a very long time. The cottage we were in was great, comfort wise and location over looking the river. The serenity that surrounds Elm Cottage was brilliant. I could not recommend Elm Cottage any higher. As a matter of fact after this review is written I am contacting them to book another stay.
