Join us in the Joeys room and watch as we learn to to take our first steps and say our first words. We provide a safe and nurturing environment in which your child can explore their world and flourish. Our two year old attends 3 days a week and we couldn't be happier with the centre. The staff are the most wonderful, dedicated people who have a genuine care for all the kids that attend.

Kookaburra Kindergarten Chatswood was first established over 30 years ago and is a stand-alone, boutique service owned and operated by an Early Childhood Teacher and family. Our centre is set in a federation era residence that has been renovated to provide state of the art facilities while preserving the traditional features of the home to maintain a warm and caring environment.

From cooing and rolling to babbling and crawling, to taking their first steps and saying their first words, babies are experiencing the most rapid period of brain development that humans undergo in their entire life. It is an exciting time as we see these tiny people grow. In the Joey's room, your child will build a secure and trusting relationship with their educator.
Program

In the first years of life, children learn through everything they see, touch, taste, smell and hear. They love to explore, experiment, test and try over and over again. Through play-based learning your child will be actively engaged in stimulating experiences that encourage them to discover themselves and the world around them.
Fees & Subsidy
Report
Fees are billed fortnightly in advance and are payable for all booked days, including absences due to illness, vacations and public holidays. As a recognised childcare provider, we are registered for the Government Childcare Subsidy (CCS). Government assistance with the cost of child care is available to eligible resident families.
