Services
The very first SVS workshop was located at 186 Draper Street and was about 180 sq metres. We quickly outgrew this and moved into a 220 sq mtr purpose built workshop at 110 Scott Street. We purchased this building 5 years later with the view to purchase the joining building in the next few years. But with our ever growing business we knew that the adjoining property was not suitable so we had to choose a building carefully.
SVS Auto Repairs Cairns can competently complete all aspects of general Vehicle servicing. This includes all makes and models; domestic, european and imports. We also offer pick up and drop off services in the Cairns CBD to make your car servicing easier. Each and every car that gets a service in our workshop undergoes the following safety and component checks.
At SVS we go out of our way to provide you with a service second to none. We have been mainting and improving 4x4's since the beggining of time. It's something we are very passionate about and we have done our best to source only the best products and mechanics to ensure your 4WD is the best it can be.
I Started using Leigh as my mechanic in the early 1980's and have been with him ever since. I have found that he operates with the highest standards for himself and his staff. His work has been of a very high quality and I have recommended him to both family and Friends. I know that when I take either of my vehicles to SVS I can expect both good service and good advise regarding any future work required.

SVS tuned my Automatic Gearbox (6L80E) on my VF SSvr 2 with a W375 Walkinshaw package. SVS greatly improved shift feel and engine responsiveness.
An excellent level of service from Adam, from first contact through to a high standard of completed work with a professional and positive attitude.

Adam and the team at SVS always do an excellent job. I have been getting my vehicles serviced and upgraded with SVS now for over 3 years and they have always looked after me with a smile and great advice, often swinging me money. They recently installed a tow bar I had ordered online with all sorts of difficultys and fixed all the problems it had (damaged looms, wires ect) with no problems at all. 100% recommend SVS

Outstanding service! SVS checked an issue with our car. They were kind enough to advise how best we could work this out with the car dealer we purchased the vehicle from brand new. When the dealer didn’t listen to us, Adam got on the phone to the dealer to try and help us out. Outstanding service and such a great attitude as well. Thanks SVS 🙏

Just picked my car up from it's first service at SVS and I couldn't be happier! I'm super impressed with how thorough they were with the service and for going the extra mile with a little clean up, she feels like brand new. I can't celebrate this family owned and run business enough. Service has always been amazing. I feel like Leigh, Liz and their team tray me as if I were family, in that if my car and its maintenance wasn't good enough for their own daughters, its not good enough for me. SVS is the first place I call when I have issues with my car, they are happy to refer to other local businesses to get my car back on track, if it's not their field of expertise, industry knowledge that is valuable and often hard to find. I have had work done on my car several times at SVS as I have needed them to fix shoddy jobs done by other mechanics! The team at SVS are really on to it, not only is their service and work shop impeccable you get the feeling they really care about you and your vehicle. They clearly know what they are doing and I don't have enough good words to say about the experience I have had with them. On top of this I have also found their pricing to be totally affordable and competitive. My experience with SVS has been amazing.
It's easy to see how passionate they are about cars and the work they do is amazing.
Staff would always keep me up to date on the progress of my car, quick to answer any questions I had.
Even staying back late to work on my car shows how much they love the work they do.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting just a service, all the way too performance mods.

I recently had my car tinted through SVS Auto Repairs and I was so impressed with the level of service I received. Not your typical mechanics workshop! The staff were extremely helpful ensuring I was aware of all of my options, associated costs and they even gave me a follow up call a week after to make sure I was happy with the job. After hearing great feedback about SVS around town and from the experience I had with having my car tinted, I will definitely be taking my car there for my next service.
